A test of Skiathos island’s submarine powerline recently connected to the mainland power grid was completed successfully, Cenergy Holdings SA announced on Thursday, ANA reports.

A series of power tests were carried out by subsidiary firm Hellenic Cables on the submerged 150 kV high-voltage cable that connects the island to the Greek National Transmission System at the area of Mantoudi, on Evia island.
