History lectures organized by the Jewish Community of Athens on May 9

Greek Jewish History Lectures, organized by the Jewish Community of Athens are running from April-June, once per month. The lectures on different topics focusing on the Jews of Greece are held via the Zoom platform. The second lecture of the series takes place Sunday, May 9, at 7 PM GR /ISR time (GMT+3)/12 PM NY/9 AM LA, with guest speaker Dr. Johannes Niehoff-Panagiotidis on the Romaniotes Jews and their origin.

All the participants, upon their entry, will be muted by the administrator. At the end of the presentation, there will be time to ask questions to the lecturer.

During the presentation, participants can either use the platform’s ‘chat’ or ‘the raised hand’ feature to ask questions. Dr. Panagiotidis will try to answer as many questions as possible.
