Greece: 25 Artists Apply For Eurovision 2022

Eurovision Fun reports that a total of 25 artists have applied to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

25 artists are reported to have applied to ERT to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. In total, the 25 artists submitted over 40 songs between them to be considered for the competition next May in Turin, Italy. Among the singers that are in the running to represent Greece are:

  • Elias Kozas – Represented Greece at Eurovision 2013
  • Konstantinos Christoforou – Represented Greece & Cyprus at Eurovision three times
  • Evangelina – Panik Records proposal for Eurovision
  • Joanne – The most recent winner of The Voice of Greece
  • Good Job Nicky – The proposal includes collaboration with Fokas Evangelinos on staging

One of the singers who is not in the running to represent Greece is Kalomira who represented Greece in 2008. Kalomira had been expected to take part in the Greek selection having recorded a number of songs last week but did not submit any songs before the deadline.

A jury will determine the Greek representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
